Project Description
The need to create a energy efficient heating and cooling system for XCoal Energy’s airplane hangar at the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport in Latrobe, PA, resulted in a custom designed Roberts Gordon CoRayVac infrared heating system with a UltraVac Controller used in conjunction with MacroAir AirVolution HVLS fans. Herrmann Associates has developed HVAC systems for hundreds of airplane hangars and in fact, a photo of one of the company’s designed heaters is featured in the U.S. military’s design guide.
